“NISHIKAWA SHOUROKU SHOUTEN” was established in 1585. It is a long-established shop with more than 430 years of history in Omi Hachiman, a city on the southeast coast of Lake Biwa in Shiga prefecture. (Currently based in Kyoto, Japan.)

It inherits the sprit of “Omi merchants.” An Omi merchant is a merchant who has the motto as “Sanpo Yoshi”, which means "benefit for all three sides".
