Nodate-chawan (tea bowl) is a tea bowl that was originally used for “Nodate (野点)” tea ceremonies, the serving of tea outdoors. It is one size smaller than a standard matcha bowl and is characterized by its practicality and portability.

Made in the historical province of Mino, now Gifu Prefecture, Mino-yaki has a rich ceramic history dating back to the 11th century.

These Mino-yaki tea bowls are perfect for everyday use and for everyone from the matcha novice to the advanced tea drinker.

Nodate-chawan (Teeschale) ist eine Teeschale, die ursprünglich für ”Nodate (野点)"-Teezeremonien, das Servieren von Tee im Freien, verwendet wurde. Sie ist eine Nummer kleiner als eine Standard-Matcha-Schale und zeichnet sich durch ihre Praktikabilität und Tragbarkeit aus.
